Who We Are
Hope Rising for India is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose hope is to make long-term, systematic change in the lives of people in the Andhra Pradesh region of India and beyond.
It began with a friendship between two people who met at a conference which has led to opportunities across the region for thousands who are fed, taught, and learn new skills. Find out more by clicking here.
What We Do
Where We Operate
Hope RIsing for India is based in Littleton, Colorado and operates through local partners located on the southeast coast of India, in and around Nellore.
Nellore is located 3 hours north of Chennai, the capital of the district of Andhra Pradesh. Nellore has about 600,000 people and the chief language is Telugu. It's a zone that has some industrial work and is also a strong agricultural and aquacultural center.
Hope Rising for India serves through 11 churches around Nellore, which act as community centers to deliver food, education, outreach, and community development. We have hopes and dreams of planting more centers that will provide help to the region.
